Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs) and Indigenous Peoples (IPs)NCIP in partnership with National  Task Force to End Local Communists Armed Conflict  (NTF-ELCAC), MIPCPD, MIPCEL and MIPYO spearheaded virtual provincial leveling sessions on ICCs/IPs self-governance with provincial, local, and national government agencies; provincial, city and municipal local chief executives or representatives; NCIP commissioners,  and ICCs and IP representatives.

It aims to provide knowledge on the IPs’ culture and heritage, 36 rights, the 11 Building Blocks of resilient, responsive, and relevant ICCs/IPs ancestral domains, and six stages of engaging ICCs/IPs, among others.

MIPCPD chairman Lipatuan Joel Unad from Ubo-Manuvu Tribe shared their tribe’s endeavors and success stories in their ancestral domain through a presentation which serves as a model template to educate and encourage all participating ICCs/IPs in their respective ancestral domains.

Participants of the Nationwide conduct of the provincial leveling session are ICCs/IPs from the thirteen (13) regions of the Philippines and lead Government and Local line agencies and stakeholders from private sectors.
